Local Picks - Cafes in Belgrade

All the cafes listed here are picked by our Belgrade Local Expert team, the people who actually live in the city. These aren’t random algorithm results or places that paid to be featured. Instead, they’re spots where locals genuinely go for a good cup of coffee, great atmosphere, or that special something you won’t find just anywhere.

You’ll find cafes across Belgrade’s various neighborhoods like Vračar, Dorćol, and Savamala, each known for different vibes and coffee styles. For example, in early spring, sit outside a cafe by the river in Dorćol as the city wakes up, watch the boats drift by, and enjoy a rich espresso. Our local experts update these picks regularly because new places open and old favorites change. It’s the kind of local knowledge you want when you’re wandering a new city or just craving a truly Belgrade coffee experience.
