Description
The Shargan Eight railway, regarded as one of Europe’s most notable narrow-gauge museum railways, originally linked Belgrade, Sarajevo, and Dubrovnik. Built in the early 20th century, it operated from 1925 to 1974 and now a section is open for tourists.
Step aboard for a nostalgic train journey through picturesque landscapes, ideal for memorable photos. After the ride, visit Wooden Town, crafted entirely from wood and designed by Serbian director Emir Kusturica to offer an immersive experience.
The tour continues to the peaks of Mokra Gora and Tara National Park, renowned for its rich flora and fauna, including brown bears, fairy-tale lakes, religious sites, and diverse natural wonders. The Banjska Stena viewpoint in Tara offers exceptional photo opportunities.
