Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation in the morning before driving approximately 45 minutes to Mokra Gora village, recognized as “The Best Tourism Village in the World” by the World Tourism Organization.
At Vitasi station, board the Šargan Eight train, part of the historic route connecting Belgrade to Dubrovnik via Sarajevo. This restored 15km railway offers a 1.5-hour ride through the pristine landscapes of Šargan and Tara National Park, combining heritage and natural beauty.
After the train ride, visit Wooden Town (Drvengrad), a village built in traditional Western Serbian style that functions as a cultural hub, especially during the Kustendorf film and music festival.
Continue to Tara mountain, one of Serbia's national parks, known for its intact wilderness and diverse fauna including brown bears. Visit viewpoints such as Zmajevac and Banjska Stena, as well as Zaovine and Spajići lakes. See Pančićeva Omorika, a spruce species unique to Tara. After exploring Mitrovac village, descend to Perućac lake and the Drina river, stopping at the 365-meter-long Vrelo river.
Conclude the tour with a visit to the House on the Rock, a distinctive landmark located in the middle of the Drina river and recognized by National Geographic. Afterwards, return to your accommodation.
