Description

Begin your day with a pickup from your accommodation in Belgrade and head to the Vojvodina Region. Travel through the Pannonian Plain to reach Lake Palic, the largest natural lake in Serbia. According to legend, it was created from shepherd Paul's tears, which is why the water is salty. Take a stroll along the 17-kilometer-long promenade, passing by landmarks like the Water Tower, Big Terrace, Music Pavilion, and Women's Lido. Next, take a short drive to Subotica, a city known for its Art Nouveau architecture. Visit the Subotica Synagogue, one of the most beautiful synagogues in this part of Europe. Continue to Freedom Square to see the National Theatre, City Library, Blue Fountain, and the City Hall, Raichle Family Palace. After your Subotica sightseeing tour, enjoy an hour of free time for lunch or to explore the city on your own. Then, head to Novi Sad, Serbia's second-largest city. Upon arrival, explore Petrovaradin Fortress, known as the 'Gibraltar on the Danube.' This well-preserved artillery bastion features more than 16 kilometers of underground tunnels and hosts the famous EXIT festival every summer. Continue your tour with a visit to the city center of Novi Sad. Stroll through Liberty Square, surrounded by beautiful buildings like City Hall, the Vojvodjanska bank building, Hotel Vojvodina, and the Roman Catholic Name of Mary Church. Walk along Zmaj Jovina and Dunavska streets and see Dunavski Park, the largest green area in the city. Finish your walking tour of Novi Sad and enjoy some free time for shopping or wandering around the city. Finally, drive back to Belgrade and get dropped off at your accommodation.
