Description
This tour begins with a visit to Manasija Monastery, founded by Despot Stefan, a 14th-century Serbian prince and patron of arts. The monastery is surrounded by fortifications and houses well-preserved fresco paintings.
Next, explore Resava Cave’s impressive halls, formed over thousands of years, featuring intricate natural formations of stalactites and stalagmites. The journey continues to Veliki Buk waterfall, where you can enjoy the fresh air and tranquil setting. An optional lunch featuring locally farmed trout is available at a nearby ethno restaurant.
The final stop is the Krupaja Spring and its mysterious cave, associated with local legends about the spirit Tartor and regional folklore.
