Description
1. Start at the monument dedicated to Stefan Nemanja, the medieval prefect and founder of the Nemanjic dynasty (15 minutes).
2. Take a tram to the Church of St. Sava, a monumental church decorated with over 15,000 m² of mosaics (45 minutes).
3. Walk to the Kalenic Market, a traditional market offering fresh local produce (30 minutes).
4. Travel by public transport to Belgrade’s town center (15 minutes).
5. Walk past key landmarks: the Parliament, the Old Palace (now City Hall), and the New Palace (Presidential Building) (15 minutes).
6. Visit Terazije Street, including landmarks like Hotel Moskva and the Terazije Fountain (15 minutes).
7. Stop at Republic Square for an optional coffee break near the National Theater, Prince Mihailo Obrenović monument, and National Museum (30 minutes).
8. Walk along Knez Mihailova pedestrian street to St. Michael's Cathedral and Belgrade’s oldest restaurant, Question Mark (30 minutes).
9. Pass the French Embassy, an Art Deco architectural landmark (15 minutes).
