Description

Subotica is a city known for its relaxed atmosphere, where everyone moves slowly and where it’s always the right time for a short break and a conversation. The expression “samo lagano” (“take it easy”) is often used here, because there’s no rush in this place. The city is also known for its excellent wines, thanks to the soil suitable for grapevines, as well as for its top-notch cuisine. Food lovers will be delighted by the desserts, and they especially shouldn't miss the lud lab and the famous Somlói galuska. The visual experience of the city includes beautiful palaces built at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. Some of the symbols of Subotica are the City Hall, the Synagogue, the Raichle Palace, and the City Museum. Many call it the “Pearl of the North,” and we invite you to come and see for yourself, so this pearl can become part of your own “travel necklace.” After the city tour, there will be a short free time – about 1 hour – after which we will continue the journey, about 15 km to the Zobnatica Stud Farm. Zobnatica Stud Farm has a long tradition of horse breeding and offers various activities for visitors. Guests can tour the stables and see the horses, learn about the history of the stud and racing horses. There is also a horse-breeding museum where you can find out more about the tradition of horsemanship and the local racetrack. You can also watch a riding demonstration and enjoy the setting. If you love horses, there’s an option to ride with the help of an instructor, and if riding isn’t for you, you can enjoy a carriage ride through nature.
