Jimi Tenor (Jimi Tenor) is one of the greatest visionaries of the contemporary music scene, should the author from Finland whose brilliant album ' Intervision ' in 1997 for the first time brought together electronic music, soul, funk and jazz, paving the way for the countless dance fusions in the future. Belgrade Jazz Festival is proud to be on Saturday 27 October, from 22:30 in the hall Americana Belgrade Youth Center , will have the opportunity to present this still fresh masterpiece, which will Tenor with his band performed in its entirety, twenty years after the foundation!
During the nineties of the 20th century, with the growth of electronic club music, it became apparent that in genres such as house and techno sampled parts jazz tunes - this way many young listeners are rejvovima after the first time you heard a jazz theme or part thereof and that i did not know what the source is. It is from this scene to the end of the nineties emerged multi-instrumentalist, composer and Finnish renegade Lassi Lahti , known worldwide under the artistic name of Jimi Tenor . His contagious fun, cabaret approach to music, retro-futuristic aesthetic which I launched, and inspire the best American funky soul sound, earned him a place on the world stage that is comparable to that which has Tarantino among filmmakers!
